On the Bormio cycle path
The idea for the ‘AL FIUME’ (‘on the river’) bar first came to me after cycling the length of the Sentiero Valtellina cycle path with my husband and our two daughters on a spring afternoon.
After a fantastic day out we sat and watched the river Adda from what was once simply our unkempt lawn and in that precise moment we decided to transform our little ‘corner of paradise’ into a relaxed bar for passers-by on the cycle path to stop off for a break, or whoever wanted to while away some time sitting on the banks of the river.
Good, healthy food
We serve healthy, authentic local food, and know our suppliers personally.
We accompany it with some good wine produced by friends of ours, or fresh fruit smoothies made to order…no more, no less, all made with love, which is what has kept us together all these years.
Live music
Fridays at Al Fiume have become a fixture for live music lovers, from 6pm as the sun starts to set people of all ages come to listen to singers and bands play in the beautiful setting of our little stage as it gets the last of the sun’s rays.
Sharing our ‘special place’ with you is a real pleasure for us, and we hope it is for you too!
